The Perlan Dome is a glacial museum in Reykjavik, Iceland. The museum is filled with exhibits about the country's geology and wildlife exhibits, however it's most well-known for its manmade ice caves.

This museum educates people on basic information on glaciers and what they are, but the ice caves add a whole new interactive perspective. On the tour, we learn about being safe on glacial hikes and how ice caves are formed. After exploring the ice caves, there is a one way exit that goes through another room dedicated to climate changes and what would happen without them. On the way out, you can write a message on a circle. The circles are used to make a giant collage of appreciation for glaciers.

There is a video coming out with a little more to see! We also visited the geology area and the observation deck, where we could look over Reykjavik. Be sure to check it out!
