About Me
Hello, I'm Emma! I'm a student at Dalhousie University who is very enthusiastic about adventures, especially when they give an opportunity to research. In 2018, I took the time to pursue both traveling and scientific research in biomedical engineering and marine biology. I'm happy to be sharing the great adventures that I had and maybe inspire others to travel as well.

Although there are many reasons to travel, my own reason is to gain research experience out in the real world. I hope to become a research scientist when I'm finished with university and I love the idea of seeing what researchers around the world are doing.

I'm an active person and love to always be on the move, whether I'm hiking a mountain, swimming in open water, or taking a walk in nature. I enjoy having new experiences, especially if traveling and trying different food is involved.

My first year at Dalhousie University was spent in their Integrated Science Program, where I had the chance to participate in a research project making antibiotics. Now I am in the Co-Op Program for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I hope others will enjoy reading about my adventures as much as I enjoy sharing them!
