What's happening now and future plans:

As I'm sure many people are aware, we are in a pandemic. Therefore, the Summer 2020 Research Project I had set up has been cancelled, along with any other opportunities this summer. In the meantime, I will still share a little bit about another research program I was on. It's the Dalhousie Integrated Science Program, which is an excellent program for undergraduate science students going into their first year. This is a huge advantage for those wanting to be researchers, as the program offers field trips in the fall practicing collecting field data and gives every student a research project that could ranging from various topics such as neuroscience, microbiology, biomedical engineering, or earth science.

In other news, I have been accepted into a Co-Op program at Dalhousie University and have intentions of completing an Honours Project, so I have a bit of a schedule for the future.

Basic outline of what to expect in the next 3.5 years:

Fall Term 2020: BREAK

Winter Term 2021: BREAK

Summer Term 2021: Co-Op (Details TBD)

Fall Term 2021: BREAK

Winter Term 2022: BREAK

Summer Term 2022: Co-Op (Details TBD)

Fall Term 2022: Co-Op (Details TBD)

Winter Term 2023: Honours Project TBD

Summer Term 2023: Research TBD

Fall Term 2023: Honours Project TBD

So things may be a little slow now, but I think the future is bright (and busy)!

Everyone stay safe!

x Emma
