What Can I Jump Off of?

Plenty of things! I wouldn't recommend leaving Eleuthera without jumping off of one of their many spots. This is kind of a simple post, but I thought it would be fun to share!

1. High Rock

It's not the most famous of places to jump into the ocean, but it's a right of passage at the Island School. Surprisingly enough, High Rock is not that high. It's probably about a 15-20 ft drop depending on the tide. It's a fun 2 mile trip off the main road and taking some friends makes the experience even better!

2. Ocean Hole

It's the world famous Ocean Hole in Rock Sound, Eleuthera! Local legend says that the water has healing powers. This hole is over 600 ft deep! There are fish and sea turtles in the hole... and some cars at the bottom. This spot also has a ladder for those who are nervous about jumping in, but as someone who always hesitates when jumping off a cliff (not that that's really a bad thing!), I would say that it's worth it!

3. Sapphire Blue Hole

By far my favorite spot to jump in and explore! Near by Preacher's Cave in the northern part of Eleuthera, the Sapphire Blue Hole is about 40 ft deep, with a 25 ft drop into the water below. It's absolutely beautiful and a must see stop in Eleuthera!

That's all I have to say!
